behind the lens

I grew up in the heart of tropical North Queensland surrounded by the pristine Daintree Rainforest and the spectacular Great Barrier Reef. I was fortunate enough to have a childhood spent chasing waterfalls, hiking mountains, sailing the ocean and flying over our amazing land. Consequently, my camera became as important as another limb, journeying with me on all my adventures.

As I grew older, capturing life around me became more than just a hobby. At 14 I decided to start my own freelance photography business. I now saw my work as a way to connect with others and express my creativity while always sharing an important message of protecting the environment.

After studying a degree in film in Byron Bay, I have returned home to Port Douglas, FNQ & opened Maker, a store that aims to support the creatives around us while freelancing outside business hours.
